Deleting your account
You can delete your PlannAir account from inside the app, without asking anyone. Your access stops right away, and the account is deleted for good 30 days later — until then you can change your mind.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the PlannAir app and sign in.
- In the sidebar, open your own account (“Account”).
- Scroll down to “Delete account” and press the button.
- Confirm it's you: enter your password. If you only ever sign in with a Google account, type your account's email address instead of a password.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
That's it. The request takes effect immediately — there's no confirmation to wait for.
What happens straight away
- You lose access to the data: to the projects, groups, duct pieces and exports.
- Sessions on your other devices are signed out. On the device you asked from you stay signed in — that's where you'll find the restore option too.
30 days to change your mind
The account isn't deleted right away: we delete it for good 30 days after the request. Those 30 days are there so a deletion started by mistake can be taken back.
Here's how you take it back: sign in to your account as usual. Signing in keeps working throughout the 30 days — that's the whole point. The app then shows you, instead of the usual screen, that your account is scheduled for deletion, along with a restore button. Press it and everything comes back: your projects, your organizations and your rights.
What is deleted for good after the 30 days
- the account itself, along with your sign-in details;
- your profile: your name, profile picture and personal settings;
- your organization memberships and the rights that go with them;
- every organization you were alone in — both its owner and its only member — together with everything inside it;
- pending invitations addressed to your account's email address.
Permanently deleted data disappears from the backups within a further 30 days at the latest.
What stays
Whatever you made in somebody else's organization — projects, groups, duct pieces, exports — stays with that organization. It isn't your personal data, it's the organization's. All that happens is that your name comes off it: the creation and the edits become anonymous.
If you own an organization
If you own an organization that still has other active members, you can't start the deletion — the app tells you which organization is in the way. Hand ownership over to one of its active members first: open that member among the organization's members, and you'll find the hand-over button there. After that your account can go.
This is deliberate: we don't appoint an owner in your place automatically, and an organization holding other people's work can't vanish with one account.
If you can't sign in
If you can't reach your account at all, you can request the deletion by e-mail: write to privacy@plannair.hu from the e-mail address belonging to your account. The same thing starts as in the app: access stops immediately, and the permanent deletion follows 30 days later.
